![]() witch is a shame because this game is awesome but everytime i play i kill the commander without even noticing. ![]() i usually play with multiple enemie with shared army so i have to destroy multiple commander to win.Īnd there is no one that did a mod on that for whatever reason. We i usually kill the enemy commander its because of a random nuke or a bombarding rush. im no genius in coding but im sure its not that hard to make the option available in skirmishes. The thing i cant belive is that i ask the dev on STEAM discution about if one day we will get an alternate win condition and one of them told be" its coming soon" like 4years ago. not necessarily, just add a Kill all enginneer or kill all production building for example would be perfect. Imagine having to clean up AI on multiple large planets would be such a pain. pvp is great lol while I want domination mode, killing a commander is either when your already winning, or last chance to snag a win. i've ask for this if it would be a thing 4 years ago. ![]() you kill the stupid ai commander and its done. I have always wondered why a scripting mission editor was either never considered for this game or left cut from the game due to time/money. Supreme commander has an option for kill commander or kill all buildings (starcraft 2 uses this one for its ranked games and standard rts play) Planetary annihilation never went that route, it stuck to the original formula which stuck to the loyal fan base and kept the mission types to the original limited "kill commander" type. ![]() scripting would open up warcraft 3 style custom games, which was the main reason i played that game more than supreme commander back then. Mission scripting was the main thing that made starcraft stand above total annihilation back in the day (that plus the countless bugs in that original game). ![]()
